Mincher-Lockett Opticians first opened its doors in 1969, founded by Jennifer and Peter Mincher-Lockett. With a strong commitment to clinical excellence and personal service, the practice quickly became a trusted name in the Stafford community—offering far more than just eye tests, but truly caring for generations of patients.
In 2006, the practice entered a new era as Jan Goodwin and Sarah Edge took over, bringing with them a wealth of experience and a passion for innovation. Under their leadership, the practice grew, introducing new services, cutting-edge technology, and expanded facilities to enhance patient care.
In December 2020, Joyce and Nigel Terry took the reins, further strengthening Mincher-Lockett’s future as part of their expanding portfolio of independent optical practices. With their leadership and the backing of their wider optical group—including Carolyn Parker Optometrists, Malcolm Gray & Associates, Martin Wheeler Optometrists, and Wyn Williams Optometrists—Mincher-Lockett Opticians has gained access to new opportunities, ensuring patients continue to receive the highest standard of care with the latest advancements in eye health.
